Helen is new to the real estate industry after spending 27 years in retail (supermarkets) throughout Newcastle and Sydney. She was involved in the huge task in the opening of two new stores from scratch and being the only person in the store that had the knowledge required for the computer systems. She was also involved in the training of other team members in the use of the new systems.
After leaving retail, Helen worked in administration and accounts and completed her Cert IV in bookkeeping, which lead to her doing a diploma in accounting at Newcastle University. This was not her passion and found her way back to administration which involved interactions with people more. Helen has a passion for helping people and going the extra mile with excellent customer service.
In her spare time Helen volunteers for her local Scout group which she has now done for 10 years and also helps her husband running 'The Woodturners of the Hunter' members only shop.
Helen also likes to play computer games on her iPad and reading, and also loves spending time with her husband, their 2 boys, her brother and sister-in-law and parents, as family is very important to her
